Here is my grouping of 9 orchid drawings which will hang just like this (although I have to straighten them out!) I am still working on the two white orchid drawings, which I started on white backgrounds. All of the other pieces were worked on colored backgrounds and I find it easier than working on the white. I'm still putting finishing touches on the pieces and making color adjustments so they will be more uniform as a group.

What a stunning collection! These are beautiful individually, and as a group. I think the first one in the second row is especially interesting because of the shapes and colors against the background.
Hi,
Just recently found your blog... your colored pencil art is simply awesome. Do you, by chance, have any tutorials posted anywhere?
Thank you Holly. Its interesting to learn which individual pieces people like.
Thank you Teresa. No, I don't have any tutorials anywhere as of right now. Something to think about I guess!
How do you frame these? Are they mounted in a certain way? They are very nicely displayed. Great job! Your pieces are stunning.
These pieces are not framed. Look up the Ampersand Cradled Gessoboard on line and you will see how they look. The gessoboard comes with the wood "frame" around the edges. I stained and finished the wood.
I really admire your colored pencil work!!! I'm glad I found your website and blog. All the best to you! :)
Thanks Siti. I admire your work also. I'm going to follow your blog. All the best to you also!
