Here is the completed piece. I softened the texture on the plate by burnishing a little with a bristle brush and worked the peppers and tomatillos in order to be very vibrant in color.
Kendra, this is gorgeous! I love how vibrant your colors are. Are you liking this board to work on? I think I will order some. I also want to try the one for watercolor - I think it's 420. Looking forward to more!
Thank you both for the comments. I really like using the Supracolor pencils under the colored pencil to cover the paper and make the colors more vibrant. I think I'll try more hot peppers!
